In the summer of 2013, Bob Huitikka contacted Curt and Juanita to see if they would be interested in taking on yet another adventure in Canada's north, by purchasing Tukto Lodge. It was important to Bob that his successors have the means, experience and knowhow to continue the Tukto legacy and so the 2013 season was our first year operating Tukto Lodge.

Then, early in 2018 an opportunity to take over the operations at Misaw Lodge came about. This unique and untouched fishing location is home to some of the best northern pike fishing in the world, not to mention great lake trout and Arctic Grayling fishing opportunities as well. It was a great fit for the Kississing Family lodge line-up, and an adventure Curt and Juanita are excited to share with both existing and new guests alike!

With nine diverse outposts to choose from, we can put you on a water system that suits your preferences, be it walleye holes or weed beds teeming with pike. Standard fare at every outpost includes hot and cold running water, satellite phones and unlimited gas. We set up your outpost before you arrive and provide regular camp checks.
